Experienced Venue Manager – Rutherford’s Corner (Malvern East)

Rutherford’s Corner is a small, much-loved local bar in the heart of Malvern East. Seating around 60 guests, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming neighbourhood venue with great service, quality drinks, and a strong community feel.

We’re currently seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the bar. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a smaller venue and enjoys building genuine relationships with locals and regulars.

About the role:

• Oversee daily bar operations

• Lead, train and motivate a small team

• Deliver outstanding customer service

• Manage stock, ordering and suppliers

• Ensure compliance with licensing and OH&S requirements

• Drive a warm, friendly atmosphere that reflects the Rutherford’s Corner brand

About you:

• Proven experience managing or (Assistant Managing) a hospitality venue or bar

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Passion for great service and community-focused venues

• Highly organised and reliable

• Available to commence mid–late January
